Certina Bristol 235

This came as part of a lot. I wore this for a year straight. Great watch. The watch arrived with an obviously loose canon pinion as hand setting was feather light. Winding was difficult. I didn't manage to get a clean timegrapher reading, it was more snow storm than anything else.

Disassembly and fault finding

A small shim fell out while dissasembling, no idea where it came from. Possibly from under the balance cock.

Component overview

Reassembly

Replaced crystal with ATC 32.3. Looks like I didn't note down the timegrapher performance after regulating. It was getting rates between -19 and -25 spd with clean traces. I believe I crimped the canon pinion with my staking set (going off notes here).
